Closing meeting of Promoting Energy Efficiency in Buildings in Turkey project

The closing meeting of Promoting Energy Efficiency in Buildings in Turkey Project was held on April 24, in the DEMO green high school campus designed by an international consortium of Ekodenge(TR), Willen Associates(DE) and Atelier Ten(UK).

The meeting opened with remarks from public institutions that took part in the project and the outcomes of the studies of Integrated Building Design Approach (IBDA), followed by a panel. Emre Yöntem of Ekodenge introduced the two demonstrations that were designed as green public buildings in line with the regulatory and financial environment of Turkey and adapted to the tendering and design procedures of public buildings.

The meeting closed with a tour of the green high school campus, which will be the first “green technology vocational high school” in Turkey.
